Home Care Staff
Our care staff work to a set of Quality Standards.
These standards include the following:
- Being polite, pleasant, courteous, and treating you with respect
- Treating all information as confidential
- Always aiming to arrive within half an hour of the agreed time
- Always wearing a uniform and identity badge.
Staff have different qualifications and experience, and receive a wide range of ongoing training including:
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Food Hygiene
- First Aid
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Guidelines
- Managing Aggressive Behaviour
We ensure staff training and qualifications meet or exceed the legal requirements demanded of care services
Health and Safety
We need to be satisfied about safety factors and will discuss them with you during a health and safety risk assessment with regards to your property, the areas the home care worker will work in and the equipment that they may be expected to use.
All accidents, however minor, will be reported by the home care worker to his/her line manager.
